On October 24, i2i held its final Demo Day for the 2024 IP² Launchpad Program, an international startup accelerator event, at the Nangang Software Park.
Hosted by i2i Chairman Gary Gong, the event welcomed a delegation from the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei (CTOT), including Deputy Director Jordan Turley, Trade Commissioner Angie Tsai, and CTA Manager Judy Chen.
Jordan Turley delivered the keynote address, highlighting opportunities for mutual growth and collaboration between the Taiwanese and Canadian startup ecosystems.
The Demo Day focused on innovations in the healthcare sector and was co-hosted by i2i's International Startup Team and the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA). Six Canadian health-tech startups showcased their cutting-edge technologies and products to foster industry partnerships and explore new market opportunities.
The event attracted over 30 industry leaders, IP² Review Board members, and expert mentors who participated in person and online to offer professional insights and guidance on the pitches. The goal was to drive global innovation and industry collaboration while advancing the latest research and development in healthcare technology.
