i2i, in collaboration with the U.S. accelerator EntreCamp, has launched the 2024 IP2 Scale Out Program, aimed at helping Taiwanese startups enter the U.S. market. On June 20, i2i Chairman Gary Gong, along with Chia Ying Wu, Deputy Director General of SMESA, led a delegation to visit the globally renowned accelerator WEVE Acceleration. They were personally received by COO John Lynn and CEO Frances Simowitz, where both sides shared experiences on linking the startup ecosystems of Taiwan and the U.S.
WEVE shared its success stories from its collaboration with the Singapore government on the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) program. i2i also introduced its acceleration programs and invited WEVE to visit the Nangang Software Incubation Center in Taiwan, run by i2i, in July to further deepen discussions through friendly exchanges and mutual visits.

John Lynn, a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and Gettysburg College, founded the NYC Innovation Collective, a non-profit alliance of New York tech accelerators. The collective aims to exchange resources, build partnerships, and share learning experiences to help startups grow.

John Lynn shared WEVE Acceleration's collaboration experience with the Singapore government. Through the "GIA-Global Innovation Alliance" program, the Singapore government subsidized 70% of the project costs, selecting 50 startups for entrepreneurial courses and training in New York. This partnership resulted in startups securing investment orders, recruiting local talent, registering U.S. companies, and applying for U.S. grants, providing valuable insights for i2i.
WEVE Acceleration, an internationally renowned accelerator, established its New York office in 2017. It is dedicated to helping international startups establish a presence in the U.S., offering entrepreneurial mentors, corporate and investor networks, and tailored acceleration programs to better adapt and expand into the U.S. market. The New York office has so far assisted over 120 startups from 25 different countries in their growth.
To continue promoting collaboration and exchange with WEVE Acceleration, i2i has invited WEVE COO John Lynn and his team to visit Taiwan in July. This mutual visit aims to deepen dialogue and spark new ideas, creating more opportunities for Taiwanese startups in the international network.
