i2i Visits Former Taiwan GM of Oracle, Joint Efforts in Nurturing Taiwan's Startup Ecosystem

i2i will host the 2024 IP2 Launchpad Demo Day this week. Corporate decision-makers and industry experts are invited to provide guidance, assisting international startups with their pitch presentations, and strategizing subsequent actions for business collaboration with Taiwanese companies and market entry arrangements.


Today (5/6), i2i visited David Lee, the former Taiwan General Manager of American corporation Oracle, to introduce the new products and technologies of the startups participating in this event.




As a consultant, Mr. Lee provided advice on the products, technologies, and business models of each startup, guiding them on future technology trends, company development and operational plans, and suitable directions where i2i can provide assistance.


Additionally, Mr. Lee analyzed the current global trends in AI and IoT development, identifying areas for improvement for the startups. He offered valuable advice to entrepreneurs, leveraging perspectives such as business models, SWOT analysis, and business objectives, while also providing guidance to i2i based on his own expertise.



About David Lee

David Lee, formerly holding positions such as Vice President of IBM Taiwan, General Manager of Oracle Taiwan, and General Manager of Oracle's East and West China region, as well as CEO of China DPT Communications Co., Ltd., possesses extensive practical experience in digital transformation and enterprise operations management.


He is dedicated to nurturing industry successors and supporting the development of Taiwan's startups and small and medium-sized enterprises.


He serves as the second-generation university president in Taiwan, a co-founder platform for entrepreneurs, and delivers lectures at various universities.


This year, invited by the i2i team, he serves as a consultant on the international review board, attending Demo Days to provide valuable advice from his professional perspective to participating international startup teams.
