Startup Terrace in Linkuo, a cluster for Taiwanese entrepreneurs with an international outlook, will host its opening ceremony on September 18. It promises to be a fabulous event with Premier William Lai Ching-te, diplomats from other countries, heavyweights from industries (e.g. Tung Tzu-Hsien, Chairman of Pegatron Corporation) and influential bankers (e.g. Chang Chia-juch, Chairman of China Development Financial Holding Corporation) attending the event. Startup Terrace was previously the athletes' village for the 2017 Taipei Summer Universiade. To continue the international spirit and service momentum of this venue, the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, redesigned the space layout for A6, A7 and B5 buildings and the first floor of A3. The purpose is to make it a cluster of international entrepreneurs by attracting startups, accelerators and entrepreneurship development organizations around the world. It is envisioned that Startup Terrace develops into a complete ecosystem by integrating adjacent industry resources and incubating innovative businesses.
